This is a new project I've added to my [unposted] list of TODO projects.

Given it's theoretical simplicity and the Paintball season coming up pretty fast, I've decided to bump it up to the top of the list and just do it.

General Idea:

A black PVC pipe will serve as the conduct for measuring the paintball speed.
Inside the pipe I plan on setting two sets of Photoresistor-LED pairs separated by a predetermined distance (that is yet to be specified).

The Arduino will measure the values from both analog inputs received from the Photoresistors. It will then calculate the time difference between both the value changes on the photoresistors and finally evaluate the speed using the predetermined distance in both Feet per Seconds and Meters per Second.

Materials:
- Arduino
- 2x Bright White LEDs
- 2x Photoresistors
- Black PVC pipe
- LCD screen (16x2)

Additional Notes:
I will need to plan for the materials for the device frame and marker support.

Stay tuned for updates.
